It was finally announced yesterday that director Lokesh Kanagaraj will be directing actor Vijay’s next, which is tentatively called ‘Thalapathy 67’. While the fans are eleated with the official announcement, the team has flown to Kashmir today for the next schedule of shooting.
While making the announcement regarding the project, the makers had also revealed that the film’s shoot commenced on 2nd January 2023 and is progressing at a brisk pace. Now, the team is all set to begin the next schedule of shooting in Kashmir.

While director Gautham Menon had confirmed that he is part of the film, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Trisha, Mansoor Ali Khan and Arjun Sarja are also said to be playing a role in ‘Thalapathy 67’. Director Lokesh Kanagraj also expressed his happiness on joining hand with Vijay for the second time afte ‘Master’.
Meanwhile, there seems to be a huge expectation for the film, with reports doing the rounds that the film will be part of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe).
Trisha flies back to Kashmir from Srinagar for Vijay’s ‘Leo’ shooting
It is known that the team of director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘Leo’ starring Vijay in the lead, is camped in Kashmir shooting for the film. With the shooting progressing at a brisk pace, actress Trisha who is playing the female lead had flown to Delhi apparently due to the weather conditions in Kashmir. While there have been numerous reports saying she has completed her shoot in Kashmir or even walked out of the film due to creative differences, the pretty actress is back in Kashmir today.
Trisha and Vijay are working together after 14 years and the fans are all excited about their pairing in the film. Meanwhile, Trisha was apparently staying at the Heritage Luxury Resort in Srinagar and flew to Kashmir earlier today to join the shooting of ‘Leo’, which was until recently referred to as ‘Thalapathy 67’.
The film’s cast include Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Priya Anand, Sandy, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin, Mathew Thomas, and Arjun Sarja. The film which went on floors on January 2 has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film will be releasing in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada on October 19, 2023.
